This Stanley London® solid brass Medium-Sized Pocket Compass is standard pocket watch size, and is of better quality than the Miniature Pocket Compass, but still fits easily in your pocket. Similar to the Large Key Chain Compass, there is a small lever on the side of the compass that operates a needle lift mechanism to protect the compass bearing while transporting the compass. The compass is slightly over 1 3/4 inches
(4.5 cm) in diameter, which is the diameter of a standard pocket watch, and measures 9/16 inch (1.5 cm) thick, and weighs 2.3 ounces (65 grams). The compass is available either plain with no engraving on the lid, or marked "Stanley London" on the lid. The unengraved version can be engraved on the outside of the lid, and either version can be engraved on the inside of the lid or back of the compass with your personalized inscription. This compass is beautifully crafted from solid brass, and is offered either polished to a mirror-like shine, in an antique patina that looks like a 100-year-old compass or brushed. It is also available with a key chain, and as a larger version of this pocket compass.
